Among the first standalone printed Tehillim sefarim in the world, and among the rarest!

This is the only edition of this commentary ever printed.

The sefer’s introduction serves as an early and significant firsthand historical source about the Torah scholars of Turkey, Salonika, and Italy in the post-Expulsion era. The author details the names of many contemporary sages whom he saw and knew during his travels through these places.

Rabbi Shlomo Attia was a disciple of the Ralbach and other greats of Salonika. He journeyed to Eretz Yisrael where he passed away in 1560.
