Totza’os Chaim – Abridged Version of the Holy Sefer Reishis Chochma, printed by the grandson of the Rabbi of Slavita,  Zhytomyr, 1858


The sefer Totza’os Chaim contains mussar and kavanos in tefillah. It is an abridged version compiled by Rabbi Eliyahu di Vidash from his holy sefer Reishis Chochma, a well-known sefer in the Jewish world.


Torah greats of all generations greatly admired the author and his sefarim, and many recommended studying this sefer to all who sought the ways of pure and saintly practices.


Printed by the grandson of the Rabbi of Slavita, Rabbi Aryeh Leib Shapira.

Printed in pocket format, "so that every man can carry it, whether he is sitting at home or traveling."

Zhytomyr, 1858.

Condition: Good; a few stains. Handsome new leather binding.

On the second page, there is a handwritten note stating the Chida’s assertion regarding the identity of the author of the abridged version.
