"Kos Shel Bracha": Manuscript of the Holy Rebbe of Komarno, Author of ‘Heichal HaBracha’,
a Segula for Protection
Very rare page of his chiddushim on Maseches Brachos, with kabbalistic teachings!
Chiddushim on Mishnayos Maseches Brachos Chapters 7-8 in the holy handwriting of the holy Rabbi Yitzchak Eisik Yehuda Yechiel Safrin of Komarno, from his great work on Mishnayos ‘Ma’aseh Oreg’ and ‘Pnei Zaken’. It is renowned as a segula for protection.
This page has special importance as it contains lofty kabbalistic teachings, which the Rebbe wrote in holiness and purity. In Chapter 8 Mishnah 1 he writes about raising one’s hands during washing and that the reason for this is similar to taking the lulav "which is a tefach high and rises to its root and spreads light on all its types… and all this is in the way of remez."
He writes about the custom of the God-fearing to put a little water in the kiddush cup according to the Arizal’s custom, and determines that one should do so also with the "cup of blessing."
Extremely rare! There exist only a few isolated pages in the Rebbe’s holy handwriting that were written on Maseches Brachos!
The holy Rabbi Yitzchak Eisik Yehuda Yechiel Safrin of Komarno (1806-1874) was an exalted holy man, worker of wonders and miracles, an extraordinary genius in both revealed and hidden Torah and among the greatest Rebbes and mekubalim.
