Unprecedented Inscription of Blessings in the Holy Handwriting of Maran Sar HaTorah Rav Chaim Kanievsky!
"Your eyes shall be illuminated with the light of Torah, and your face shall shine like the radiance of the heavens." (From the present handwriting of Rav Kanievsky)
The sefer is ‘Shoneh Halachos’ by the leading authority and luminary of Yisrael, Sar HaTorah Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt"l, which he gifted to one of his descendants for his Bar Mitzvah celebration
At the beginning of the sefer is an especially moving and lengthy inscription in Rav Chaim’s holy handwriting, containing tremendous blessings unprecedented in their nature!!!
Thus Rav Chaim writes in his holy handwriting:
"…May it be His will that the following shall be fulfilled in you
As written in the Gemara (Berachos p.17a):
May you see your world in your lifetime
And may your end be for the life of the World to Come,
And your hope for generations of generations
Your mouth shall speak wisdom
And your tongue shall utter song
Your eyelids shall look straight ahead
Your eyes shall illuminate with the light of Torah
And your face shall shine like the radiance of the heavens
Your lips shall express knowledge
And your inner being shall rejoice in uprightness
And your footsteps shall run to hear
The words of the days of yore."
And he signs: "With the blessing of Saba, Chaim Kanievsky"
Rav Kanievsky, who truly had the entire Torah laid out in his head as if in his pocket, took the trouble to write this lengthy and special inscription when he heard that his descendant, the Bar Mitzvah boy, wished to forgo renting a hall for the Bar Mitzvah celebration, and with the rental money sought to purchase holy sefarim. When Rav Chaim heard this, he was so moved that wrote for the Bar Mitzvah boy this special inscription, the likes of which cannot be found at all!
The inscription is dated: Tammuz 2009.
