"And You, Hashem, are my Protector": Prayers of Protection for Travelers – Handwritten on Parchment

Germany, 18th Century

A small handwritten notebook on parchment containing prayers and Torah readings to provide protection for a traveler, concluding with Kiddush Levanah.

With holy names, names of angels and segulos, the prayers’ origins are from the writings of early Kabbalists and the writings of the Ari (see Kitzur Shla"h, Shevet Mussar Chapter 31 and more).

Includes Torah verses and chapters of Tehillim beneficial for protection, the passage of ‘Akeidas Yitzchak’, various ‘Yehi Ratzon’ prayers and segulos, such as "Anyone who encounters an evil person or enemies should raise their right hand… and point [with a finger] at the enemies and say ‘May dread and fear fall upon them…’".
