Sefer Yessod: Lechem Mishne on Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, First Edition – Venice 1604

The renowned commentary on Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, written by Rabbi Avraham di Boton of Salonika, One of the most prominent and important Nosei Kelim of the Rambam.

In this first edition, the commentary was printed separately, and from then on it was always printed alongside Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, alongside the Maggid Mishneh and the Kesef Mishneh.

A complete set in two volumes.

Venice 1604-1606, first edition. Pagination: Vol. 1: 42, 163 leaves. Vol. 2: 239 [should be 242] leaves. Size: 29 cm.

Overall condition good-fair: Holes in the margins, some repaired. On the last 8 leaves of Vol. 2 Small holes on margins professionaly restored .Signs of use.

A few short glosses in Italian handwriting.
