Sefer Yesod on Maseches Kidushin: Atzmos Yosef, First Edition.Saloniki 1601
The sefer Atzmos Yosef Yosef is a commentary together with halachic rulings on maseches Kidushin, by Rav Yosef ben Yitzchak Ibn Ezra, one of the Rabbanim of Thessaloniki.
From the time it was printed until today, this sefer is considered the most thorough work on maseches Kidushin.
Saloniki [1601] first edition. Pages: 125. Size: 26.3 cm. Good condition, the title page is pasted on old paper for preservation. A small tear in the corner of page 26. A few stains. Other than that, a charming copy. Attractive new leather binding.
Signature on the cover in Italian script:
Rabbi "Chaim Volterra, " one of the prominent Rabbanim of Italy at the end of the 16th century. He served as Rav of Venice, Ancona and Senigallia, and his approbations appear in several sefarim of his times.
