Sefer Ha’ikarim, the basics of emunah by Rav Yosef Albo.
In his sefer, Rav Albo based the principles of the religion on three principles: the reality of Hashem; reward and punishment; and Torah from Heaven. The sefer was written to strengthen the emunah of the Spanish Jews who suffered pogroms and forced conversions.
This edition is particularly rare, the first to be printed in Ashkenazi countries (the previous editions were printed in Italy and Thessaloniki).
