Sefer Yesh Nochalin by the Shla”h’ Father – Shapira Print – Zhitomir 1848

The Daily Learning Schedule Established by the Tosafos Yom Tov

The sefer Yesh Nochalin is a wonderful mussar work on tefillah, tzedakah and maaser, teshuvah, Shabbos and Yom Tov, setting aside time for Torah study, emunah, bitachon, ethics and more, by Rav Avraham Halevi Horowitz, the father of the Shla”h, with the glosses of his son Rav Yaakov, the brother of the Shla”h.
Also in the sefer is the
Tosafos Yom Tov’s daily schedule, dividing the Rosh’s Orchos Chaim into the days of the week. The Tosafos Yom Tov established to recite each day’s section before Baruch She’amar, with the chazan reciting it out loud.
At the end is the important will of Rav Shabsai Sheftil HaLevi Horowitz, Rav of Frankfurt and son of the Shla”h.
