A Historic Letter from the Divrei Shmuel of Slonim and Other Prominent Slonim Chassidim, to the Chassidim in Teveria
This document, sent to the Slonimer Chassidim in Teveria, includes a collection of rare autographs of leading figures of the Chassidus:
On one side are words of chizuk written and signed by the Slonimer Rebbe Rav Shmuel Weinberg, author of Divrei Shmuel. He signs his name as “Shmuel ben Chaya Devasha.”
On the other side of the page, leading Chassidim added:
A message to the Chassidim from Rav Mordechai Lider, nephew of the Yesod Ha’avodah and father-in-law of the Birkas Avraham, who signed together with Rav Noach Weinberg, brother of the Divrei Shmuel and father of the Birkas Avraham;
four personal lines written by
Rav Mordechai Lider, with regards and greetings to his wife and son;
one personal note written by
Rav Noach Weinberg, with regards to his wife and son;
four lines written by
Rav Shimon Kopilowitz, son-in-law of the Divrei Shmuel, with greetings to the Chassidim and regards to his wife, the Rebbe’s daughter.
