A public proclamation (kol korei) from the Satmar Beis Din, with regulations regarding the baking of shemurah matzos in the community’s bakery. In addition, the letter rules not to bring matzos from elsewhere, or to bake without permission.
The letter is personally signed by:
Rav Yosef Greenwald, the Pupa Rebbe, who was only 26-years-old at the time;

Rav Chaim Halberstam, Rav of Satmar and son of Rav Shalom Eliezer of Ratzfart;

Rav Moshe David Winternitz, Rav of Satmar, a student of the Kedushat Yom Tov;

Rav Avraham Chanoch Friedman, Rav of Satmar, grandson of the Chasam Sofer;


Rabbi Yeshaya Kleinman, nephew of Rav Yeshayah of Krestirer and a dayan in Satmar.

Satmar [12 Adar Shani] [1929]. A printed proclamation on one side, with the handwritten signatures of the five Rabbanim. Size: 31×19.5 cm approx. Fair-good condition. Small hole in the center of the page with damage Stains and fold marks.
