Halachic rulings on Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deah necessary for everyday life, similar to the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch by Rabbi Yosef Pardo, the first Rabbi of the Spanish congregation in Amsterdam.

This pocket-size sefer was first printed in Amsterdam in 1686 for Oriental Jews, in this edition Rabbi Tzvi Hersh of Przemysl added the comments of the Rema to adapt the sefer for Ashkenazic Jews.

Tefillas Haderech appears at the end of the sefer.

This edition contains an illustrated title page with a depiction of a deer on the top, alluding to the name Rabbi ‘Tzvi Hersh’, and in the margins, there are 3 people sitting around a table, hinting to the name of the sefer, Shulchan Tahor.
