Machzor for the Yamim Noraim.

Includes a Remarkable Illustration of a Jewish Rabbi in Prayer!

Vienna, 1811

Prayers for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur following the customs of the Sephardim in Constantinople and Italy, with instructions for praying in Ladino.

An accurate and edited machzor, including prayers from the Arizal, a prayer for "Vayavor" of the Ohr HaChaim, and supplications from the chassid Rabbi David Pardo.

In front of the title page is a beautiful and unique copper engraving, showing an elderly Jewish rabbi, adorned with a tallis, praying from a siddur held in his hands.

This engraving is very rare and is missing in most copies. It is not recorded at all in the Institute for Hebrew Bibliography.
