Four volumes containing chiddushim on the Shas, by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Falk, Av Bais Din of Frankfurt-on-the-Main. All are first editions.

Sefer Pnei Yehoshua is one of the most important sefarim on Shas compiled by the Achronim, and it is studied to this day in all Batei Midrashim.

The Chida writes about the author: "… His name has become known all over the world through his four-volume work of Pnei Yehoshua on Shas, and I, the young one, was privileged to meet him, and his appearance is like an angel…"

The Chasam Sofer said of the holy author: There has not been a composition like the Pnei Yehoshua since the time of the composition of the Rashba. (Testimony of his disciple, Rabbi of Dés, in Avnei Tzedek.)
