The sefer has been preserved in excellent condition. It is rare to find a copy of Tzenah U’Re’enah in such good condition.

Throughout the sefer’s pages appear 66 beautiful woodcut illustrations depicting significant events in our nation’s history.

Tzena U’re’ena is the most popular disseminated work in the history of Yiddish literature extensively used by Jewish Yiddish-speaking women for generations. It served as the "Chumash" for women and young girls, children and the general populace.
