The volume contains two sefarim of early and elementary midrashim, with seperate title pages:
* Midrash Tehillim – Midrashim of Chazal on Sefer Tehillim, also known as midrash ‘Shocher Tov’ after the first letters of the sefer.
* Midrash Shmuel – Midrashim of Chazal on Sefer Shmuel and Mishlei. Included is the alpha-beta commentary of Rabbi Matisya HaItzhari.
This is the first time that the sefer has been printed in its entirety, as a single work. (Previously, the work was printed in two parts, each part in a different printing place.)
Printed by the famous printer Daniel Bomberg, in the city of Venice.
