A Rare Handwritten Letter by the Satmar Rebbetzin – Wife of the Holy Rebbe Baal ‘Divrei Yoel’ of Satmar


A long handwritten letter signed by the great Rebbetzin Alta Feige Teitelbaum, wife of the Holy Rebbe Rabbeinu Yoel of Satmar.

At the end of the letter is a line in the handwriting and signature of the Rebbe’s gabbai, Rabbi Yossel Ashkenazi z"l, who was one of the closest people to the Rebbe and treated like a family member.

The Rebbetzin was a devoted partner to her distinguished husband, assisting him in all his work, and especially in establishing and maintaining institutions of Torah and chesed after the Holocaust. She was known for her great acts of kindness and wisdom.

Condition: Good; thin paper; fold marks; wrinkles and minor tears in the margins. Yiddish.
