This never-printed manuscript by Rabbi Moshe Pardo, Raavad of Jerusalem and Av Beis Din of Alexandria, author of numerous sifrei kodesh.
This original manuscript contains two parts:
1. Chiddushim on Shulchan Aruch, Choshen Mishpat. Includes drafts of halachic valid contracts and documents including detailed explanations and halachic sources in his writings.[4] leaves
2.
Composition on Topics in Aggadah. An encyclopedic work in alphabetical order regarding topics in Aggadah. [24] leaves
Rabbi Moshe Pardo (1810-1888) was the descendant of great Sephardic sages including the Chid”a and Rabbi David Pardo and a scion of the illustrious Abulafia family. Born and raised in Jerusalem, he immersed himself in Torah until he numbered among the venerated sages and halachic authorities in his generation. In 1870, he set out as a Rabbinical emissary to Diaspora countries in order to raise money for the destitute Yishuv. His published sefarim include Tzedek U’mishpat, Shemo Moshe, and more.
Manuscript handwritten by the author, undated. 28 leaves, 2 columns per side. Page size: 28 cm. Margins creased. 2 last pages torn, but all text is intact. New half-cloth binding.
