Ohev Yisrael (Lover of Israel): ‘For it was frequently on the rabbi’s lips, that this trait is one he could boast of even before the Beit Din shel Mala, that Ahavat Israel was firmly planted in his heart, ‘ and he also instructed that only this title should be written on his tombstone.
