Rare Miniature Booklet
Tikun Shtaros. Amsterdam, 1697
Collection of financial and nuptial deeds and contracts, including tena’im, kesubos and heter iska, etc.
The writing of deeds and contracts, both for financial and nuptial purposes, is exceedingly complex and intricate and requires substantial knowledge and expertise to ensure that it complies with both halachic and legal requirements. The present work was printed as a resource for those unfamiliar with the intricate laws and requirements regarding deeds and contracts. In the past, these booklets were widely used by the public.
This work was printed by the renowned Torah author Rabbi Shmuel ben Rabbi Wolf Fishels of Lvov, son-in-law of Rabbi Yissachar Ber of Cracow. (Rabbi Shmuel Fishels also brought to print the sefer ‘Kol HaRamaz’ with his glosses.)
Amsterdam, 1697. 24 leaves.
